Paul Desanti (1968) teaches Corsican language and culture at the college of Purtichju and at the University of Corti. His work appears regularly in such literary reviews as U Taravu, A l'Asgiu, A spannata, and Bonanova, and he is editor of the Corsican language periodical Avali. A collection of short stories, Vicini et Scunfini contains prize-winning entries in the 'Biennale de prose littéraire', a joint Corso-Sardinian competition. A second collection of stories, L'ultimi mumenta d'Alzheimer, was published by Albiana-CCU in 2002.
