Lluís-Anton Baulenas
Lluís-Anton Baulenas was born in Barcelona in 1958. He is a novelist, playwright and the author of several short story collections. He has also written the scripts for a number of successful films and directed his own cabaret pieces. He contributes to newspapers such as El País, El Periòdic de Catalunya, La Vanguardia and Avui. In 2004 he was awarded the Ramon Llull Catalan Novel Prize for his book Per un sac d'ossos, which deals with the theme of concentration camps during the Spanish Civil War.
Graham Thomson
Graham Thomson was born in Glasgow in 1955. He studied Philosphy and Literature at the University of Edinburgh and worked as a researcher and social worker in Scotland before moving to Barcelona in 1986. He translates from Catalan, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese and has been director of translations into English with the online literary magazine The Barcelona Review since its launch in 1997.
