Tomoko Takahashi Harvey(c) Tomoko Takahashi Harvey 2006
Tomoko Takahashi Harvey lives in England, but originally comes from Tokyo. She specialises in printmaking and has taken part in several exhibitions in London, Cambridge and Suffolk. Tomoko Takahashi Harvey's images are variously inspired by stories, music or simply by the ambience absorbed while strolling through the streets. The prints and drawings included in this issue of Transcript are part of her Night Series. Paying close attention to shadows and the reflections that are created by light, or the lack of it, her work depicts the night in a serene mood.
