Luboslav Palo was born in 1968 in Vranov nad Toplou in Slovakia. He studied at the P. J. Safárik University in Presov and at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, where he currently works as assistant to Dusan Kállay. Palo has illustrated books for publishing houses both at home and abroad, and is a four-time winner of The Best Book of Slovakia. His work has been exhibited in cities from Bratislava to Tokyo.
