Diana Bartkute Barnard
Diana Bartkute Barnard studied English language and literature at Vilnius University, Lithuania, and did her MA in ELT at Lancaster University, UK. For some time she has been interested in translating texts in the fields of literary criticism, arts and history. She also teaches English at the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.
Her recent translations include A Concise History of Lithuanian Ballet (2009), 300 Baltic Writers (2009), Lietuvos Vytis / The Vytis of Lithuania (2009), The Borders of Lithuania. The History of Millennium (2010).
Since 1995 she has been translating for the literary magazines Vilnius and The Vilnius Review. New Writing from Lithuania.
