Juanjo Olasagarre Mendinueta
Juanjo Olasagarre Mendinueta (Pamplona, 1963) teaches Basque language and literature at secondary level. He has published three books of poetry: Gaupasak (Nights, 1991), Bizi Puskak (Pieces Of life, 1996), Puska Biziz (Living in pieces, 2000), and one play, Hegazti Herrariak (Migrant Birds, 1996), which received the Basque Language Royal Academy Prize, in 1995. He is the author of a travel book on South Africa, Mandelaren Africa (Mandela`s Africa), which has been translated into Spanish (El Africa de Mandela, Ediciones B, 2000).
